Today I’m gonna talk to you about the promotional video that I did for Jackie’s Boy and about how we connected and ended up working together.
Jackie’s Boy is a respective grammy award winning- singer/songwriter and owner of the BigCircle Music Group.
I’ve met him many years ago when this website myspace.com was the biggest thing to promote your music, follow your favourite artist/bands and to discover new musicians. This was also a place to connect with friends from all over the world (years before Instagram and Facebook).Later on Myspace, kind of went off the radar and much less popular so the contacts that I had build up disappeared slowly.
The Instagram era begun.
Lucky for me I found some of my old contacts back on Instagram and Jackie’s Boy was one of them.
We started talking about a photo I posted from my Bahamas trip with friends and a few phone calls/whatsapps away we’ve started to collaborate on this great project called; Let’s Get It On, a tribute show with songs from Marvin Gaye performed by Jackie’s Boy.
I was asked to make a promotional video for it and hopefully that can give him more shows, the people loved it!
